① International students with foreign citizenship whose parents both have foreign citizenship who has or expects to get a Bachelor’s degree from 4-year undergraduate education or equivalent.
② Official Korean or English language proficiency certificate is required.
– Korean: TOPIK Level 3 or better
– English: TOEFL PBT 550, CBT 197, IBT 71, IELTS 5.5, TEPS 600, New TEPS 326 or better |

※ Transfer admission for international applicants is not available in this application period.
※ An applicant admitted with an expected graduation certificate must obtain his/her final diploma by August 31, 2021, otherwise his/her admission will be canceled.
※ In case English is the official language in the country of an applicant’s nationality AND he/she has graduated from a high school or a university in the same country, the applicant does not need to submit an official language proficiency certificate.
※ In the absence of an official language proficiency certificate, it is possible to substitute with a Confirmation of Language Proficiency (you can find format on website ) signed by a department head at the Soongsil Graduate School.
※ A Korean applicant with dual nationality is not allowed to apply as an international student.
※ Admitted students must acquire TOPIK level 4 or better to graduate. The requirement is subject to change.

Special Scholarship for International Students
Scholarship Amount
1) 50% tuition waiver for humanities and Social Science major students
2) 60% tuition waiver for Natural Science and Engineering major students
※ For those who have TOPIK level 4 or better will receive an additional scholarship, 500,000won.
*Special Scholarship for Full-Time Doctoral Course Student(100% Tuition waiver)
Eligibility
1) Master’s course score: 90/100 or better, 4.0/4.5 or better.
2) Foreign Language: TOPIK level 5 or higher for Humanities and Social Science, and level 4 or better for Natural science and Engineering / English: TOEFL PBT 550, CBT 210, IBT 80, IELTS 5.5, TEPS 600, New TEPS 327 or better
Requirements
1) Selected recipients should maintain full-time student status and keep their GPA for a minimum 4.0 out of 4.5 each semester.
2) Please consult with the Graduate School office before application.
