Soongsil University and KOICA employ a rigorous and transparent selection process to identify talented individuals who will lead the future of ICT and digital innovation. The process is divided into four key stages.

Applicants must be officially nominated by their respective government organizations.
• Submit the KOICA Application Form along with the Soongsil University admission documents.
• The local KOICA office will perform an initial review of document validity and eligibility
(career background, current position, etc.). |
Based on the documents forwarded by KOICA, the faculty of Soongsil University's Graduate School of Information Sciences evaluates the applicant's academic and professional potential.
Relevance of the Bachelor’s degree to the ICT, DX, or AX fields.
Clarity of the research topic and the potential for contribution to the home country after graduation.
Practical experience and achievements in the IT or public sector.
Excellence in GPA and previous academic records.
Applicants who pass the document screening will participate in a real-time online interview to verify their capabilities.
Platform Conducted via Zoom, Skype, or other video conferencing tools.
Proficiency in understanding lectures and writing a Master’s thesis in English.
Foundational understanding and interest in ICT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Digital Transformation.
Potential to grow as a global leader and attitude as a scholarship recipient.
Innovative ideas regarding technological issues in the applicant’s home country.
Following the university's recommendation, KOICA makes the final decision on the scholarship awardees.

• Interview winners must undergo a medical examination at a designated hospital.
• Candidates must prove they are in good health for a long-term stay and intensive study in Korea
