Who needs to apply for Alien Registration Card (ARC)?
Foreigners who will be staying in Korea for more than 90 days (i.e work/study) are required to apply for Alien Registration Card (ARC).
During the period of your scholarship program after entry to Korea, you will get monthly allowance to your bank account(Korean).
Alien Registration Card is needed to open a bank account in Korea.
<Preparation of ARC>
1. Application form
– You can receive the form after you arrive at SSU.
2. Passport (original and copy, including the page where the visa is printed)
3. A passport sized photo (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, taken against a white background)
4. Visa Grant Notice
5. Certificate of the Residence (It can be issued by the dormitory office after you arrive at SSU)
6. Fee : KRW 50,000 (in cash) / 30,000(registration fee) + 20,000(commission fee)

<Schedule of ARC in SSU>
Immigration officer will visit SSU and help you to issue ARC of you in the middle of April. (The date will be specified at the end of March)
For Application of documents in advance,
The participants need to visit this office and submit the documents and the fee to the office.
